Celine Tan Provisional Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Celine has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a range of treatment services including private clinics, hospitals, and university settings. She enjoys conducting cognitive and psychological assessments and delivering cognitive behavioural interventions for anxiety, depression, and substance related disorders. Celine has facilitated group therapy programs for mood, anxiety, and drug and alcohol in inpatient and outpatient settings. Celine incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic principals in her practice. Her treatment philosophy is strongly based in the importance of understanding subjective experiences and helping individuals generate insight for themselves.
Qualifications
Celine completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Psychology degree with Honours at Macquarie University. She completed her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Western Sydney University.
